Move over Kate Middleton and your Chelsea blow-dry the hairstyle everyones talking about is Cheryl Coles new blonde bob!
When news of Cheryls new look broke yesterday with no picture evidence we were all left guessing exactly how blonde shed gone would she have gone for Poshs Peroxide Pixie circa 2007? Finally the first pics were leaked and we all breathed a sigh of relief...
When we spoke to Cheryl earlier this year she told us, People always say blondes have more fun and I guess if you change shade, then you do act differently. When you colour your hair yourself, you can reflect your mood with the colour, I change colour to match how Im feeling.
Todays her birthday and after the last few rough weeks its totally natural that shes fancying a new look to boost her confidence and give her feel good factor so yesterday she went to see her trusted team of stylists, Lisa Laudat and colourist Amie Wilson from Hershesons salon who transformed her long brunette locks into a honey-hued asymmetric bob with subtle shimmering tones. Cheryls new colour is LOréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss in Smokey Quartz 8304, £6.12 and despite the cut she still cant leave the extensions alone. So whats the professional verdict...?
I wouldnt really call this a blonde; more a toffee tone. With Cheryls skin tone she wouldnt want to go too light straight away and this is a complimentary tone for her complexion. Her bob is a long, graduated style with heavy layers and it does look like shes still wearing her extensions for that extra volume shes renowned for. The pap shots show her looking happy and taking it in her stride and enjoying the new look.

Cheryl Cole has managed to pull it off once again, another style change that works for her. The soft warm blonde tones are great for her and compliment her skin tone, unlike some of the previous red colour tones shes had in the past which were too cool. Staying a mid blonde is definitely the right level, going even lighter would be just be a disaster for her. Midi bobs are the effortless almost grown up and grown out bobs. Cut to just on the shoulder line with soft layering to lift, add definition and ascent the face shape. This is a stylish and fresher change to her normal long extension look.
