I've been running round the backstage circuits of London Fashion Week to get the lowdown on the hair and makeup trends we'll be rocking come Spring/Summer '10...
Yesterday we attended the Wedding of the Year - Henry Holland put on one of the most fun shows of the season with his kitsch 80's wedding, complete with bride.
We caught up with Shay Dempsey, Sebastian Professionals Creative Artist who talked us through the look the wedding guests rocked down the catwalk, "We wanted big 80's hair but with a multi-textured look to give it a modern edge we applied Sebastian's Micro-Web Fibre to the hair and curled sections with tongs brushing them out to give it that undone look. Sections were underpinned to create a faux bob and pieces pulled out to give this deconstructed look with lots of soft movement. The parting was pulled across and pinned down meaning the volume is at the sides rather than on top putting the two textures in conflict." This undone do' coupled with lips in fabulous shades of violet and orange (MAC Violetta and Lady Danger) and Sophy Robsons mini works of nail art with actual lace from the collection laid over the nail and sealed with topcoat made for one of the most stylish wedding parties ever seen!
