So the X Factors over and Joe's the winner! Here's the final instalment from our insider at the X Factor, Chief Makeup Artist Jackie Tyson...
"It's always hard to help keep everyone calm backstage during the final. The atmosphere on Saturday was really tense. It was so nerve wracking the boys couldn't stop pacing up and down. The duets weren't rehearsed until 4pm on Saturday and they only got one rehearsal so of course that was really difficult for the contestants.
The waiting game is that hardest bit but as you can see, Stacey and I were really trying to keep it all light-hearted. Stacey kept saying she didn't mind what the outcome was and genuinely meant it, she was so pleased to have got to the final round."
"Stacey loves dramatic eyes so for the final, it was obvious we were going to have to do something pretty special for the girl who LOVES her lashes. I used some great strip lashes by Eylure and really went for it with the liquid liner. You always have to account for lots of tears on final night so there were lots of touch-ups here and there as you can imagine! The skin was flawless and radiant, once again thanks to a Karin Herzog mini facial pre-show to relax Stacey and get her skin glowing. I always use foundation with light-reflecting particles for smooth, younger skins because it looks great on camera. The lips were high-shine, girly and feminine, we chose a really dolly pink- such a great contrast from the boys in their tuxes."
