LUSH Launch Emotional Brilliance Make Up Range

 

 
Lush have just launched Emotional Brilliance - a make up range with a twist. The Emotional Brilliance range features a variety of lipsticks, cream eyeshadows and liquid eyeliners in an array of bright colours, and true to Lush's planet-friendly ethics, packaged in almost entirely recyclable (and very handbag friendly) little bottles.
 
The twist here is in the way you choose your products... Lush have created the Emotional Brilliance Colour Wheel - a little game you can now play in store and online to help you find the products to fit your emotional needs at the time. It may sound a bit barmy, but Lush have worked with renowned Strategic Behavioural Therapist, Lady Kennedy, to devise this concept and when we tried it, we definitely found our colour reading to be accurate!
 
To play the game, you spin the wheel and choose the three coloured discs that stand out to you at that moment. Not because they are your favourite colours or because they match what you’re wearing, but because you are drawn to them.
 
These three chosen colours will then be placed in the middle of the wheel in the order you picked them. Your first colour choice symbolises your strength or weakness, your second choice represents your subconscious need, while your third choice is your talent and it is what you require to achieve your subconscious need. You can then purchase the products assigned to the words you've chosen in your reading!
 

Gaming aside, the products are all available to buy without having to play the game, and the quality is great. All of the Emotional Brilliance eyeshadows, liners and lippies cost £14.50 and are vegan-friendly. There are some supplementary products available in the range including mascara, pots of bronzer, highlighter and make up setting powder, each priced at £12. We adore the lipsticks - they are really moisturising and mega pigmented.
