Last night I was lucky enough to attend the World Premiere of Nine and see the Hollywood A-list up close and they definitely didn't dissapoint. Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Penelope Cruz were dressed more appropriately for the Oscars than a cold winters eve in London. They're just a few of the superstar leading ladies in a film packed full of talent that also includes Dame Judi Dench, Marion Cotillard and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas.
The film centres on famous film director (Daniel Day Lewis) and his struggle to come up with an idea for a new film whilst balancing the various women in his life. Whilst watching the film I couldn't help but notice that it strangely seemed to take reference from the SS10 catwalks. Saraghina's (Fergie) savage texturized hair could have come straight from the Jeremy Scott show, whilst Stephanie's (Kate Hudson) smoky jewel toned eyes were almost identical to the ones at Issa and Carla's eyes (Penelope Cruz) matched the gapped liner look at Miu Miu.
With a protagonist named Guido (incase you didn't know this is also the name of one of the worlds most influential hairdressers) and Kate Hudson playing a Vogue journalist this is undoubtedly one of the most fashionable films for years.
Nine is in cinemas December 26th 2009.
