Continuing my never ending mission to appear as if I naturally look like this when I wake up and after my amazing success at jinny lash, I decided to go one step further. One very big step further. Semi permanent make-up. Yes, okay, it sounds scary. In fact, a needle that close to the face sounds really scary, but, wait for it. It's not. Not at all.
Tracie Giles has been doing this for over 20 years and is one of the best and most established in the business, so you can expect only the best and most natural and precise results. I went for the eye definition. I'm sick of having eyeliner half way down my face at lunch let alone at the end of play, so this is perfect for me. Tracie merely fills in the gaps inbetween your lower lashes making your eyes pop, defining them and ensuring they don't, well, just get lost in the middle of your face. Perfect when you wake up after no sleep and your eyes still look all fresh and wide (you maybe still need a bottle of eyedrops though!).
Tracie sits you down, talks you through it (the treatment only takes about 40 mins). With a bit of anesthetic cream to numb the area around your eye, she gets to work. If you look at the needle it really isn't that big, but during the treatment you don't see it once. It feels like having a tiny bit of pressure around your eye, slightly uncomfortable, but not painful in the slightest, if threading were an 8 on the pain scale, this would be a 2 max. Any discomfort is worth the results. A subtle, but distinctive line along your bottom lashes, so natural you would think you were just born that way (which you were of course).
So, when you wake up in the morning, or come out of the sea on holiday, you don't look all beady eyed, but instead wide eyed and naturally (ahem) gorgeous. Perfect.
