Yesterday we had afternoon tea with Mariah Carey. Although it wasn’t really the afternoon by the time she arrived (over an hour late!) but it’s Mariah and we shouldn’t have expected anything less!
It's notes of a different kind for Mariah as she launches her third fragrance ‘Forever’ in the UK and during the Q&A with T4’s Rick Edwards she told us that she was ‘heavily involved’ in creating the fragrance, especially the luxe art deco design of the bottle which was based on a bottle from her own fragrance collection. She even taught us exactly how to wear the fragrance, demonstrating by running the dabber from head to toe and, obviously, down her cleavage. Alternatively you can spray a mist and walk through it. The fragrance itself is actually one of our favourite celeb fragrances for a long time – sexy and glamourous Mariah picked out the notes of tuberose and gardenia.
Forever is available on boots.com and nationwide from February 14th. When Rick asked Mariah if she has a Boots advantage card, she didn’t seem too keen on the idea.

Hot on Mariah’s heels, Irish hottie Gerard Butler wants his own fragrance! He told BBC Radio, ‘I need a perfume. I need to get my publicist to get on that. Clive Owen has his aftershave, Ewan McGregor has cologne. What do I have? Nothing. I don’t know what it would be like but I need one.”
