Daisies are going to be everywhere this summer, from festival fields to the high street - we are particularly obsessed with Topshop's daisy print bomber jacket right now!
This week's nail art tutorial shows you how to get the ditsy daisy look on your nails, using a secret weapon you might not have expected!
The secret weapon we use to paint our petals is a kirby grip! You simply take a grip, bend it backwards so its in an open V position and then use the ends to dip in polish and paint evenly sized dots onto the nail!
Other products you'll need for this manicure are a base colour, a different coloured polish for the centre of the flower and white polish for the petals.
Paint on two to three coats of your base colour until it's opaque.
Make a 'palette' to put blobs of your nail polish onto for easy dipping (a scrap of paper works fine). Paint a few blobs onto the nail to form the centre of the daisies (or the stigma, if you want to be scientifically correct about it!) Leave enough space between the dots for the petals so your flowers aren't all squished together.
Using your white polish, start to dot the petals around the centre of the daisies. They may need a second coat of blobs as white polish is traditionally quite thin.
Do an extra blob over the stigmas to make them look nice and bright
Paint a couple of random spots in the blank spaces on the nail and finish with a glossy topcoat to give everything a smooth and professional finish.
The finished product in all its floral glory!
