Ballerina Bun: EASE RATING 10/10
You couldnt move this AW without seeing a bun from the catwalk, to the red carpet to erm, the COMPANY office, everyone was rocking the ballerina bun including Olivia Palermo! Olivia's sleek bun is easy to achieve and works much better on day old hair (bonus!)
-Prepping the hair properly is crucial to achieving this look - brush the hair through and iron it straight.
- Secure in a tight ponytail at the desired height of the bun. - Use a spritz of hairspray to flatten any fly-aways and give a polished, slick finish.
- Back comb the bun and spray again then twist the ponytail wrapping it in a clockwise motion and secure with grips.
- Ensure all the ends are wrapped neatly away and give it a final spritz of hairspray for a do thatll last all night.
Glossy waves: EASE RATING 7/10
Im totally jealous of Katy Perrys glossy, tumbling waves hands up who doesnt want to know how to perfect this look? No one? Ok, then lets begin.
-Whilst hair is still damp run some mousse through the mid-lengths and ends and rough dry it in.
-Heated rollers are the best, start with smaller rollers at the hairline and work to the bigger rollers at the back. Try Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Big Hair Heated Volume Hair Rollers, £29.99 from www.boots.co.uk
-Let them cool down properly before you take them out, then brush hair through thoroughly twisting the curls around your finger for a retro finish.
-Spray with. No 12 Redken Fashion Work Hair Spray, £11.50
Soft up-do: EASE RATING 5/10
Like Eva's, the up-do of the moment is soft and elegant but theres no need to book yourself into the salon, this look is all about looking like youve styled it yourself.
-Section the hair around the crown into two sections, front and back.
-Start with giving some structure to the back of the hair by creating a soft pony tail and twisting the ends up tucking them in. Secure with grips.
- Pin the top section of the hair away, well come to that later.
- Loosely wrap the sides of the hair over the pony tail securing with a grip keeping it nice and flat at the sides for a more fashionable finish.
- Taking the top section, tease the hair to give height then spray, separate and grip over the top of the ponytail.
