Why did you get involved with fitness week?
Two years ago I walked into the gym for the first time, and I wished I had done it a long time before. I realised gyms aren't nearly as intimidating as you think they might be - if you get into a routine and go with friends they can actually be a lot of fun!
What's your fitness regime like?
I work out every other day and I always do an hour - half an hour of cardio (I mix it up between walking and running on the treadmill) and half an hour of free weights!
You're known for your incredible abs, how do we get them?
Ah thanks. I think everyone can have them. If you look after your body by eating the right things and workout regularly your body responds well. Plus I do lots of crunches in changing between lots of positions - that really works your abs!
How do you keep the gym fun?
I try and make it a social thing so I'll take some friends and we'll catch up at the same time as working out! Or I'll put on my ipod.
What song keeps you going at the gym?
I love dance music - mainly remixes of Rhiana or Pink.
Do you watch what you eat as well?
There's no point working out and then eating a massive cake. I try and eat as healthy as possible - lots of salad and fish! But always in reason. Once a week I treat myself and have a day off where I can eat whatever I fancy my cheese burger, fish and chips ot Sunday roast.
Any other ways you'd recommend to keep fit?
Well with the spice girls I would be running about on stage, being crazy every night, and dancing so that kept me pretty fit.
So is dancing a good way to stay in shape?
Dancing is a really fun way to stay in shape and it tones all our lovely womanly bits. I'm actually about to start filming my own dance show in the States called Dance your Arse off' which is all about losing weight through dancing! The show is already been huge success over there so should be a lot of fun!
Sounds great - fingers crossed it'll come over here so we can watch it too!
