It's a pretty rubbish time of year - it's still cold but the shops are full of spring clothes, we're all skint but want to go out and we're all feeling pretty unmotivated. So what to do? If we're honest, we're not going to start getting up at 6am for a pre-work swim, so we thought of ways to incorporate a bit of health and fitness into our normal daily routine - so here's our 9-5 health swap...

- Swap your morning coffee for a fruit smoothie to up your 5 a day instantly - and reds your body of sluggish caffine toxins

- Walk up the stairs to your desk rather than take the lift to burn some extra calories

- Swap your office chair for an exercise ball - you may get some funny looks, but it's you who'll be laughing when your stomach is super flat by Summer!

- Set yourslef a challenge - every time you check Facebook or Twitter,  drink a glass of water - you'll be rehydrated in no time and your skin will thank you for it! We love Willow water.

-  Swap your usueal sarnie or panini for a low calorie lunch - we've been obsessed with the new Boots Shapers ‘Around the World’ range of sandwiches, wraps, salads and sushi which are all under 500 calories for a drink, main and snack and taste amazing!

- Leave your desk and take a walk around lunchtime, even if it's just around the block or car park. Fresh air and a bit of exercise means that you'll feel much more revived for the afternoon.

- If you go for a drink after work, swap your usual large glass of white wine for a vodka (we've just discovered low calorie Voli vodka) with soda water and fresh lime, and not only will your hangover not be as bad, but you will consume way less calories!

- Try and go to bed an hour earlier than normal each night - don't underestimate the power of a great night's sleep!

So there you have it, just a few ways that team Company are trying to ditch the bulge and get healthier without too much effort - that's our kind of fitness plan!
