We've been going WAY over board on the sweet snacks in the office lately (our Instagram is proof!) so we have decided to pledge allegiance to our love of cupcakes in the form of nail art instead of real cupcakes.
Blogger Cole from Coleyyyful shows you how to create this very sweet nail design...
"To create this look you will need: nail polishes in mint green, hot pink, pale pink, red, white, pale blue, yellow orange and green. You will also need a dotting tool (or one end of a bent back kirby grib works well) and a thin nail art brush."
"The first step is to paint a pale green base coat."
"Apply the bright pink nail polish to half of your nail. (This is the cupcake case)"
"Using a thin nail art brush and the paler pink nail polish, add several lines to the bright pink part of your nail to create a cupcake case texture"
"It's time to create the cupcake icing! Using a thin nail art brush create a cloud-like shape on top of the cupcake case as shown"
"For the cherry, simply dot a large red dot at the top of the cupcake."
"For the sprinkles you will need to use a thin nail art brush and the pale blue, yellow, orange, green and pale pink nail polishes. Simply create small lines on the cupcake icing."
"Apply a top coat. This will not only protect the design but it will also give the nails a nice shine too."
