Studs have been huge news on the catwalks and high street this year, adding the edge factor to clothing and accessories alike! Now you can get the look on your nails by using tiny nail art studs, which look amazing and are much cheaper way to get the look than investing in a studded biker (although we might have to make an exception for Topshop\'s amazing \'heartbreaker\' jacket!)

Start off with a base colour - we used Black Taxi by Nails Inc. Apply two coats and wait for it to dry fully.

We bought a wheel of 1200 different coloured metal studs on eBay for just £3.99! You will need tweezers to place them onto the nails.

Usually we\'d advise you to use a fast drying topcoat, but for the purpose of this project, it helps to use a longer drying topcoat. Do a coat of clear topcoat , this will act as \'glue\', and then begin stick your studs onto the nail with tweezers.

We decided to do two rows per nail, but you could do anything you like. WAH Nails\' website has lots of amazing nail art inspiration involving studs!
