We do love the dip-dye ombre hair look, but it's quite a drastic colour commitment. Our friends at Clairol have created this video tutorial to show you a new technique: Colour Smudging. Adding flashes of colour to sections of hair creates a more subtle take on the two-tone hair trend.
We love the way this technique suits all tastes - you can use super-bright dye if you're brave, or use a gentle lightener to add some subtle highlights throughout the hair.
