Laura Mercier metallic crème eye colour in Rose Gold, £18

Eye shadow,Laura Mercier laura mercier cream eyeshadow

I love the packaging for this eye colour and I wasn\'t disappointed when I applied it either. The silky smooth texture didn\'t dry immediately which allowed me to get the right amount onto my eyelid. It was really subtle which would be great for work but I built it up for a more vivid metallic look. 4/5

No7 Stay Perfect Eye Mousse, £8.50

Eye shadow,No7 no7 stay perfect eye mousse

This gentle eye cream is perfect to create a quick look for a night out. The long lasting product doesn\'t feel too heavy and the tube packaging makes it easy to store in the handbag. Use just a tiny amount for a little shimmer and dab extra for full-on glam eyes.

Clinique Quick Eyes Cream Shadow, £12

Clinique,Eye shadow clinique eyeshadow

This one was a real treat. I loved the luxurious consistency - it struck the perfect balance between a powder and a liquid so it was easy to apply, blended like a dream and didn\'t crease, run or all come off on my fingers whilst blending. Plus there\'s plenty of pigment kicking about so you can either use sparingly and blend in for a subtle shimmer - or it\'s very easy to build up the colour for a really intense wash. The Starlit Pink shade = very pretty peepers!

Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow in \'flatter me\', £13

Benefit,Eye shadow benefit cream eyeshadow

I love this shade of burnt pink with subtle metallic sparkles. Depending on how you apply it the pretty pot doubles up as an eye shadow and liner and its creamy texture ensures that it\'s creaseless and long wearing. 4/5

Too Faced Shimmer Veil, £12

Eye shadow,Too Faced too face shimmer veil

This sparkly liquid eyeshadow is the most amazing addition to my makeup bag. I had so many compliments during the day and I love that you can either sweep it across your lids for a subtle shimmery look or dab on for real wow factor. 5/5

Bourjois Shimmering Shine liquid eyeshadow in Molecule D\'or, £6.95

Bourjois,Eye shadow bourjois cream eyeshadw

A pale shimmery golden colour that\'s more subtle gold goddess than bronze bling babe, making it perfect to add a hint of radiance to your day make-up. Although quite liquid, this goes on easy thanks to the applicator wand. It starts to become more solid once you apply it, making it easy to blend without it going absolutely everywhere. 3/5

Bobbi Brown Long-wear Cream Shadow in Slate, £16

Eye shadow,Bobbi Brown bobbi brown cream eyeshadow

I loved the natural brown/grey colour of this which went on really naturally but you could easily apply more for a darker, more dramatic look. I recommend using a brush (or in a pinch - cotton bud) to apply as it has a putty-like texture which makes it dry quickly but overall it\'s easy to use and versatile. 3/5

Clarins Soft Cream Eye Colour, £13

Clarins,Eye shadow clarins cream eye cream

I haven\'t used a cream eyeshadow since I was about 14 years old when they were first in fashion so I was a bit sceptical about swapping my powder for this Clarins one. When I applied it though I was amazed at the look it gave. The gold colour itself was really subtle instead giving a great metallic copper look. I\'m a definite convert! 4/5

Body Shop Cream Eye Colour, £9

Eye shadow,The Body Shop the body shop eye colour

I loved the gleam given off from this soft eye cream. The colour was really subtle with the metallic glimmer only really coming out when the light caught it so it was a great day option and it still looked amazing when I got home that evening!

Rimmel Metallic Cream Shadow, £3.49

Rimmel,Eye shadow rimmel metallic cream eyeshadow

I love the bright lilac shade of this eye shadow it looked amazing with my dark eyes and was a real change for me as I normally just stick to gold shades. It did crease and rub off a bit by lunchtime but other than this I was loved it. 3/5
