Frederic Fekkai Protein Rx Anti-Breakage Treatment Mask, £23

Dry hair,Hair care,Frederic Fekkai, hair masks frederic fekkai hair mask

I really liked the thick consistency of this hair mask which meant that I didn\'t need a great deal, a good job considering the hefty price tag! I\'ve heard that Heidi Klum and Sharon Stone are big fans of both Frederic\'s salon and products so I had high expectations of this mask which contains soy and milk protein to help mend and prevent breaks and splits in heat damaged hair, perfect for me as I blow dry my hair every day. After relaxing for five minutes with this mask on I washed it off and was really pleased with the results. My hair felt soft even when wet and was much easier to style thanks to a reduction in frizz. 5/5

Tigi Color Savvy Balance Booster, £19.50

Dry hair,Hair care,Tigi, hair mask tigi colour savvy balance boosters

These individual conditioning boosters have been specially formulated to inject moisture into coloured hair, perfect fro me as my highlighted hair is also very dry and prone to frizziness. I have always used hair masks but was really surprised at the difference this one made to my hair. Afterwards it looked visibly healthier and shinier and felt really soft and smooth. I really liked the concept with the individual tubes as well, my hair id mid-length but incredibly thick yet I only needed half a tube so all in all they work out quite purse friendly. 5/5

Kerastase Masquintense, £20.40

Dry hair,Hair care,Kerastase, hair mask kerastase masquintense

I was expecting big things and great hair from this mask and I wasn\'t disappointed. Kerastase are the Holy Grail of luxury hair products and their ultra-nourishing mask (I used the one for fine hair) was a suitably indulgent treat for my tresses.

The product is a gorgeously rich cream which you really don\'t need a great deal of to be effective, simply run through your hair concentrating on the ends, leave in for a little while (I waited about 5 minutes) and then thoroughly wash out and prepare to be amazed! My hair felt the softest and silkiest it\'s ever been since before I discovered high lights - it has a lovely glossy shine that I normally can only achieve with a hair serum - and as I used the one for fine hair, there\'s a definite volume boost too. Do you hair a nice and nourishing turn and it really does pay dividends - it is a lot of money for a hair product but the pot should last  you a long time, it\'s important to look after the health of your hair, and really...you can put a price on hot locks! 5/5

Herbal Essences hello hydration intensive mask, £3.99

Dry hair,Hair care, hair mask, herbal essences, hello hydration herbal essences hello hydration

This thick gloopy mask smelt absolutely divine and I felt instantly transported to a hot tropical beach somewhere. Smell aside, the thing which I loved the most about this mask was that you only need to leave it on fro one minute for it to work its magic, a great time saver! After using this a few times my hair looked much smoother and shinier than ever before and I had several compliments from people in the office. 5/5

John Frieda Miraculous Recovery Mask, £5.35

Dry hair,Hair care,John Freida, hair mask john freida miraculous recovery mask

I have really long, really highlighted hair, so needless to say it was in need of a little intensive moisturising. This mask got rid of all my tangles and seemed to do the job of a regular conditioner and it smells divine! Once I had dried my hair, it left it super silky, but by the next day my hair had turned really greasy, so I had to wash it again - usually I only need to wash my hair every three days or so. I think this conditioner would probably be better suited to extremely dry hair. 3/5

James Brown London - Intensive Hair Mask, £7.82

Dry hair,Hair care, james brown,Hair Mask james brown hair mask

This Intensive Hair Mask from James Brown London (Kate Moss\' hairstylist) was amazing, and left my hair feeling smooth and silky.  The product smelt great; it has shea butter as an active ingredient, and was really easy to use, leaving my hair sleek, shiny and not at all greasy. The only downside? Once a week might just not be enough.  Three days after I used the conditioner my hair just didn\'t feel as fairy soft as it did, and I was addicted!  Sunday hair conditioning days can\'t come round fast enough. 4/5

This mask smells lovely and its consistency is just like normal conditioner making it easy to apply and massage into the scalp through to ends. You only need to leave it to work for 2-3 minutes making the mask a quick and easy addition to the morning routine when hair is in need of a boost. After the first application my hair felt strengthened, silky smooth and looked super shiny. 4/5

Bumble and Bumble Crème de Coco Masque, £18.50

Dry hair,Hair care,Hair Mask, bumble and bumble bumble and bumble hair mask

This scrumptious hair mask from NYC\'s Bumble and Bumble left my hair feeling light, soft and nourished without being fly-away or difficult to control. Made from a trio of powerful tropical butters (murumuru, mango and shea) which converted my tired tresses into shiny, curvaceous, goldilocks - and made them smell like something I\'d quite like to eat - I wouldn\'t hesitate in recommending this once-a-week hair treat to all my friends. 5/5

Burt\'s Bees Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment, £11.50

Dry hair,Hair care,Burt\'s Bees,Hair Mask burts bees avocado pre treatment

Along with being 99% natural, this hair mask is unique in that you apply it before you shampoo. The rich formula might be a bit greasy for some, but if you\'ve got thick, coarse or very dry hair (like me) it is a godsend. Running my hands through my hair afterwards, I couldn\'t believe these soft locks were mine! 5/5

Wella SP 3.2 Repair Mask, £14.69

Dry hair,Hair care, wella,Hair Mask wella sp hair mask

Having just recently highlighted my hair, it was in need of some extra TLC. I left the mask on for 30 minutes, more than the stated time but I thought it couldn\'t hurt! Afterwards, I was left with very smooth and shiny hair and would recommend this product for weekly use to keep hair in good condition. 4/5
