According to reports, the Twilight hottie had been offered the princely sum to become the face of iconic Brit fashion house, but it was not meant to be, with a source blabbing: "[Designer] Christopher [Bailey] and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. "They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them down. As far as Robert sees things he's an actor by trade and that's his art. He doesn't want to start becoming a brand or anything."
However, a fashion insider told us that Bailey and his crew wanted just new faces for their next campaign, so we're not sure how true this is. And besides, £1 million per cheque or not, we doubt RPattz has any excuse to scrimp on Kristen Stewart's Christmas present this year - his acting work has still got him the mega bucks rolling in.
