I went down to Pure Groove, a very cool record shop/music bar in Farringdon last night for hotly tipped Example's single launch. He's described as a Calvin Harris meets Dizzee Rascal and if you haven't heard his single yet- Watch The Sun Come Up- check it out on iTunes, we think you'll love it. It's a fab post-Ibiza tune and great for keeping our spirits up now winter's closing in. We even heard Mike Skinner might pop in (he's a friend and supporter) but alas I didn't spot him in the very packed pub (Example has obviously got a lot of fans).

We really loved his brilliant cover of the Blur song Tender (the crowd went wild for it) and Time Machine which is produced by Calvin Harris. But the stand out song of the night has to be Watch The Sun Come Up.
All in all we liked Example a lot, he's cheeky and funny and his music is going to give the other rappers a run for their money. His album's due out early next year.
