Jamie's Back!

Jamie on stage

You couldn't miss pint-sized pop star Jamie Cullum on stage at his album launch party last night, because he was projected on to a cinema-sized screen! But his music was the focal point as he played us tracks from his new album The Pursuit in trademark all-over-the-piano-hyper-energetic style. And we couldn't help but spy his stunning model girlfriend, Sophie Dahl, in the audience offering her support. Jamie's famous for transforming chart-topping tracks in jazz classics, and his version of Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music had the crowd in The Tabernacle in Westbourne Park bobbing along in no time.

Here's some of the new album tracks he treated us too, he hasn't lost his touch...

I'm All Over It Now - a song about moving on from heartbreak - this is upbeat, fun and poppy

If I Ruled The World - his nan used to play him the Harry Secombe version.

Just One of Those Things - all about one night stands with a great saxophone solo

Love Aint Gonna Let You Down - Jamie admits this one is a window to his soul...lucky Sophie!

Wheels - Written with chords inspired by his six year old nephew this is a funky little political track about the wheels falling off the world. The deep one.

I Think, I Love has some funny lyrics about a girl throwing up in the back of a taxi.

Re-run Jamie wrote this with his bro Ben, and close friend producer Kgee - part of it was recorded from his kitchen!

Wind Cries Mary - a cover of the Jimi Hendrix track

Jamie Cullum's new album The Pursuit is out on November 9.
