But as regular readers of Company magazine will know JLS have long been supporters of our ongoing Play Safe campaign. Way back in November last year the guys sported our All I Want For Christmas Is A Condom T-shirts which they customised and we auctioned off for the Terrence Higgins Trust. This is what the boys said at the time:
Oritse One of my best friends caught an STI and hed only slept with two women in his life. It was a tough way to learn the condom lesson.
Marvin: Strap up your Ting! That says it all really!
JB: Its never been more important to promote safe sex. Its not just about accidentally getting a girl pregnant, STIs can affect your health for the rest of your life.
Aston: Im impressed more girls carry condoms now, why shouldnt they? Theres a certain shyness that some women feel about bringing up the subject in the heat of the moment, but if Im about to have sex with a girl and she pulls out a condom, I think Wow shes smart. I always use extra-safe condoms for reassurance, as its better to be safe than sorry.
At today's launch they reiterated the message with Aston even admitting his dad bought out a diagram when he was younger to explain the, erm, ins and outs of sex. Boys we salute you!
The JLS Durex condom range will be in shops from Monday
