Calvin Harris played the first Xbox Reverb gig in London last night and we were there to ask him why he never replies to our tweets (despite being a Twitter addict like us)!

Xbox Reverb gives fans the chance to help co-ordinate gigs with their favourite bands and help choose venues, set lists, design flyers and choose support acts. To get involved you have to sign up to the Reverb Facebook or Twitter groups and post your suggestions for the bands - a few lucky winners also get to go to the gigs.
At the launch in Soho (we were in a cool basement beneath a trendy record store) the Beatles new Rock Band game was set up in one room (Calvin checked it out) and we had a go on the fab XBox DJ hero game - although we're not sure Calvin would have rated our attempt on the decks.

Ushered into the artists 'green room', glass of wine in hand, I told Calvin - we are obviously now on first name terms - how his new album was the only thing taken by a car thief who broke into my car recently. Well it was that or George Michael's greatest hits! Calvin then played a brilliant DJ set but was gutted when The Magistrates - who had played earlier - tucked into his M&S curry (we have the evidence). I have to admit to Calvin I nibbled on a couple of cheese slices too. Oh and we've tweeted the Scottish superstar since (check out www.twitter.com/companymagazine) but we're still waiting for a reply! Come on Calvin say hi - we love you!

We also sat down for a chat with up and coming band the Magistrates. This four piece (Paul Usher on keyboard and vocals, Mark Brandon on guitar, Thom Galbally on bass and Andy Grant on drums) cheeky 'sexy, pop, disco' band from Essex are just finishing their first album after the first single, Heartbreak, was made available as a free iTunes download. Paul rocked the sequinned shoulders look and explained his gig T shirts are made for him by the designer Gemma Smith. Not only do we want one for ourselves but we predict the band will go far. Just remember you saw them here first!
