I am still pinching myself now, but it's starting to hurt. Last night I got the best ticket in town for X Factor's secret gig with the final four, courtesy of the show's sponsors TalkTalk. And what a night it was! In a tiny venue, just off Carnaby Street and handily a few doors down from Company HQ we were treated to an intimate gig with next year's superstar- whichever one that may be! I was surprised though to find out that Olly and Stacey have applied for X Factor before and not even got through the first round... perhaps it is time to try again?
First up was the press conference, and here's the goss we got for you guys...
The contestants kept modest about their chances of winning. "Everyone wants to win" said Stacey "1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, whatever I just feel proud. Look how far I've come, that's well good! We're all winners". Bless her, she was exactly like she is week in, week out, and was even shy speaking to the crowd in between her songs.
But there was one contestant who was feeling super-confident last night, despite wearing a dodgy suit and no socks with his shoes!
"I'm in it to win it!" said Olly. He even stole the mic from our host at one point to call for more votes. "I'm chuffed to be in the semi's and I'm just focusing on getting through to the final. I've got lots of things planned for these guys, so they don't win on Saturday" he laughed. He said he was joking but I'd be watching my tea if I were Stacey, Joe and Danyl...!
And it sounds like Simon might be behind it... "Simon just wants us both to be in the final otherwise we're dead. We're scared," admitted Danyl.
So who'd they like to kiss under the mistletoe?
Olly: Cheryl. (He later claimed he was joking, and it'd only be a little peck, but he was convincing no one!)
Danyl: Danni
Stacey: Danny Dyer
Joe: Beyonce
One person Danyl won't be kissing is Whitney Houston as he admitted Whitney didn't like him when she was the mentor saying "Whitney absolutely hated me!" The problem was him singing her unreleased song apparently...
Despite rumours that the winner's song is going to be Miley Cyrus' The Climb- the contestants claim to have no idea "We've recorded about 8" said Olly, "I sound great on all of them. It's going to be in the shops in 3 weeks!" he joked, again!

Finally dozens of competition winners were let through the doors and we were treated to the contestant's two fave songs of the series so far.
The set list was:
Joe... Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me and Don't Stop Believing
Olly... Come Together and Fool In Love
Danyl... With A Little Help From My Friends and Careless Whisper
Stacey... The Scientist and Who Wants To Live Forever.
Unsurprisingly, all were absolutely amazing performances and I just can't pick my favourite. Olly's dancing was wicked though... hopefully you'll get to see some of it on Saturday night's show!
Finally I just had to get a pic with each of them, although Joe seemed a little sleepy...
