Courtney 'Not Divorcing' David

Hollywood actress Courteney Cox has given her first interview since announcing her separation from husband of 11-years David Arquette and announced that they are "not divorcing".

The 46-year-old 'Cougar Town' star has also gushed about Jennifer Aniston and how "amazing" the former 'Friends' star has been since her trial separation.

Speaking to TV Week, the 'Scream' actress said: "I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced. This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage. Sometimes you just realize 'Wow, we actually have grown apart."

On 39-year-old David's interview with DJ Howard Stern, during which he admitted he had slept with aspiring actress Jasmine Waltz since they announced their break, Courteney said: "It's not shocking and Howard Stern - he loves him and I'm a fan of Howard Stern. David is an entertainer and I'm sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories."

Couteney also denied that the pair had an open marriage and denied any romance with 'Cougar Town' co-star Josh Hopkins, continuing: "I always thought of myself as the greatest wife because I’ll do whatever I want to do and I don’t mean open marriage. I am not doing anything. No dating. I hate to go out, so, I don’t know how that would work. I’m a homebody."

And on BFF 41-year-old Jen, she gushed: "We just have fun, we laugh, we're inseparable and it's great. It's funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don't know what's going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don't know what's going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure."
