The 20-year-old starlet-turned-student, who is currently studying literature and geology at US university Browns, had been given £50 a week allowance by her father, until he sat her down to discuss her fortune. And Emma, who was named Hollywood's highest-paid female actress of 2009 with an estimated fortune of £22 million, told Vogue: "By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get serious. On cutting off most of her hair recently, Emma, who has played Hermione in the hit films since she was nine, added to the December issue of the publication: "For the nine years I was on 'Harry Potter' I was contractually obliged not to cut my hair, not to tan."All the normal things girls do, I couldn't. So when I got the chance to change my appearance, this is what I did."
The first part of the seventh and final instalment of the franchise, 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows', is set for cinematic release later this month.
