Great British Beer Festival
Date: 2nd – 6th of August 2011, Earls Court
The Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court is Britain’s biggest beer festival offering a wide selection of real ales, ciders, perries and international beers. With live music, pub games and beer tastings you’ll be sure to find plenty to do.

The Big Chill Date: 4th – 7th of August 2011, Eastnor Castle
The Big Chill was founded as an outdoor festival in 1995, and has moved home on several occasions. It is now hosted in its current home at Eastnor Castle where it now takes place each summer at the beginning of August. Around 35,000 now attend this eclectic mix of entertainment. Line up TBA

Tickets: £80 Stop Making Sense Date: 12th -14th of August 2011, Adriatic Coast, Croatia
Taking place on the full moon weekend Stop Making Sense showcases top quality dance music and live acts to the shores of Croatia’s beautiful Adriatic coast. Still relatively new Stop Making Sense launched in 2010, and after being nominated for the best New European festival has promised to deliver on an even bigger scale. With some of the DJ’s and live acts including Body & Soul (NYC), Francois K, Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell and Danny Krivit.

Tribfest Date: 19th – 21st of August 2011, E.Yorks, Hull
Tribfest has grown over the past four years and is now Europe's biggest tribute band festival. Tribfest takes place from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st August 2011, and will feature an assortment of tribute acts including Silent Disco and local talent and comedy performance.

Virgin Media V Festival Date: 20th and 21st of August 2011, Hylands Park, Chelmsford
If you’re a Virgin Media customer you could have been ahead of the crowd and got tickets and access the line up to this summer’s V Festival! Line up includes Eminem, Rihanna, Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah.

Lowlands Festival Date: 20th – 22nd of August 2011, Biddinghuizen, Holland
Lowlands’s festival will be celebrating its eighteenth edition of this festival which in its past has seen 55, 000 visitors flock to Evenemententerrein Walibi World' in Biddinghuizen, to enjoy the alternative music, video art and entertainment. Line TBA.

Reading & Leeds Festivals Date: 26th- 28th of August 2011
Rock, alternative, indie, punk, metal with big names, breaking acts and exclusive performances Reading & Leeds festivals have it all. Mosh with 87,000 others to sounds by Muse, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance and Pulp.

Creamfields Date: 27th – 28th of August 2011, Daresbury, Cheshire
The award winning Creamfields is the UK’s No.1 dance festival and over the last 12 years has held the crown as the world’s best dance festival.
