The whole of East London is preparing for Lovebox, one of the biggest parties and music festivals of the year. On the 15th, 16th and 17th July, Lovebox will take over Victoria Park for a freewheeling, groundbreaking and non-stop music event with the likes of the Wombats, Jessie J and Blondie performing.
But Lovebox haven't finished yet. As well as adding a new act, jazz temptress Peaches to their Sunday line-up, they have created an amazing preview playlist of 10 tracks to give you a taste of whats to come.
Drawing inspiration from the fiercest underground parties, the very best gay clubs and cutting edge fashion, the all day event on Sunday has been nicknamed 'Out and Out Fierce'. The headliners include the Scissor Sisters, 2ManyDJs, Kelis, Robyn and of course the legendary band Blondie.
Lovebox is now in it's eight year and was created to celebrate the music and culture that has always been at the heart of the east London scene. This year 65,000 people will descend upon the park bordering Bethnal Green, Hackney and Bow to watch a carefully selected selection of acts from all musical genres.
