eBay reckon Alexa Chung's style has made a massive impact on the buying public
She's got her very own fashion-line for US brand Madewell now, but that hasn't stopped people turning to internet auction house eBay to copy Alexa Chung's style.
Talking to Vogue, eBay spokesperson Julia Hutton-Potts said:
"She [Alexa] is regularly the number one searched-for name on eBay because her style is so influential. As soon as she steps out in her latest look, shoppers flock to eBay to snap up replica items."
And to prove the point, clogs - similar to the Chanel ones Alexa wears on the Vogue March cover - saw a sales hike by just under 200 per cent after the issue dropped, according to Hutton-Potts.
Meanwhile, dungarees, which Alexa wore in the same mag, saw sales increase by 75 per cent.
