Amy Winehouse reportedly too stoned after collaboration with Snoop Dogg to finish tracks
Anyone with half a brain must have realised that putting Snoop Dogg and Amy Winehouse in the same recording studio was only going to lead to trouble and unfinished material. The unlikely duo, who have admitted to being partial to the odd doobie, reportedly got so stoned while collaborating together in LA last year that they've yet to finish their songs.
A source said:
"Amy came to the studio buzzing with ideas and the pair got on really well, even though Snoop turned up in his dressing gown with slippers on, which had Amy giggling.
"They were working at a frenetic pace at first but as the day wore on and more smoke breaks took place, the work rate slackened.
"By the time their studio time ended they had a pair of tracks sketched out but no finished product.”
And Amy's recent US visa trouble has meant that the songstress has been unable to return to Los Angeles to complete the recording.
We hope Amy doesn't get quite so distracted while she works on her third album in the Caribbean...
