Amy Winehouse collaborating with Fred Perry for upcoming fashion line
Amy Winehouse isn't always the best style endorser (she almost singlehandedly killed the entire ballet pump craze), but even the biggest critic has to admit that she rocks the 1950s vibe pretty well. So, with that in mind, it's perhaps not that surprising that she's pulling together a fashion line for her beloved Fred Perry...
According to The Sun, the Rehab has been recruited by the British label to design 17 retro-style pieces including skirts and polo shirts, with marketing director, Richard Martin, revealing:
"We had three major design meetings where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, colour and styling details.
"Amy gave crucial input on proportion, colour and fit. The range clearly has Amy's handwriting."
With commitments to the label for the next four seasons, though, we're not sure if we'll aver get to hear the singer's third album...
