Company is sad to report that singer Amy Winehouse, has been found dead at her home, according to the Press Association. A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed that a 27-year-old woman had died in Camden and that the cause of death was as yet unexplained. The London Ambulance Service were called to the flat at 1554 BST Saturday 23rd July, and sent two ambulances but the woman died, reports say.
Last month, the north Londoner pulled out of her European tour after a comeback gig in Serbia made headlines for the wrong reasons after she was booed off stage, appearing as though she was too drunk to perform, mumbling and sometimes leaving the stage altogether.
Amy was a singer who battled with drink and drug addiction, which sadly overshadowed her musical career in recent years, espeically as she had such a unique voice and talent.
Amy Winehouse's debut album, Frank, released in 2003 was loved by critics, but her 2006 album Back to Black really got her on the radar when it won her five Grammy Awards.
RIP Amy.
