Mitch Winehouse talks about his daughter's out of control shoe habit
Who'd have thought that Amy Winehouse had an expensive shoe habit? We only ever see her in those grubby ballet pumps (although we guess she must spend a few bob on those at the rate she must get through them). However, speaking to the Daily Star, she singer's dad revealed that she spent nearly $20,000 (£12,960) on high-end footwear during one recent US shopping spree, explaining:
"Amy has blown stupid amounts on shoes - she's replaced her drug addiction with a shopping addiction."
"She bought 20 pairs of Jimmy Choo designer shoes in one afternoon. I returned them all to Selfridges.
"She'd never wear them, she has two rooms full of unopened, unworn shoes - it's ridiculous, such a waste."
He should see Carrie Bradshaw's closet. We'd happily take them off Amy's hands (or feet), Mitch!
