Two days after Angelina Jolie's public display of affection with Brad Pitt, the actress is heading to Haiti to meet with hospitalised earthquake survivors. The UN goodwill ambassador, who is suing the News of The World after the British tabloid recently reported that she was about to split with long-term partner Pitt, spent yesterday visiting hospitalised Haitian survivors in the Dominican Republic and meeting with Dominican President Leonel Fernandez.
The mother-of-six announced last month that she and Pitt were donating £500,000 to the emergency medical operation in Haiti.
In a statement, the star had said: "It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades."
Pitt will hold the fort at home and take care of their brood; adopted children - Maddox, eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five as well as biological children - Shiloh, three, and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
