Ashton Kutcher is bringing cancelled show The Beautiful Life back for an internet run
We never got to see any of Mischa Barton's show The Beautiful Life here in the UK, so we were unable to pass judgement when it got cancelled after only two episodes in the US. Considering it's about models and fashion, though, we're just guessing that we'd be on the side of those who've been petitioning for its comeback! And as luck would have it, their dedication has paid off, as producer Ashton Kutcher has gamely stepped in and agreed to run the remaining episodes on You Tube - which means we'll get to see it after all.
According to WENN, Ashton said:
"Given the rise of social media and the scale of online consumer reach, original content producers are turning to the web to connect mass audiences with high-quality entertainment programming.
"When The Beautiful Life concluded on broadcast television, we were deluged by fans imploring us to bring back Tbl (The Beautiful Life).
"Working with innovative companies like YouTube, we are thrilled to be ending this year by releasing the remaining episodes of The Beautiful Life and taking part in a unique marketing programme that could only occur online."
