Beth Ditto claims she bans her girlfriend from joining her on tour
There are plenty of rock musicians who might have tried to use this excuse to their long suffering partners as they make the most of tour life, but something tells us that Beth Ditto didn't have groupies in mind when she banned her girlfriend from joining her on the road.
The Gossip singer has been with her girlfriend Freddie for eight years, but doesn't want her on the road with the band because of media intrusion.
The told the press:
"(It's) not because I don't think she can handle it, but because that's my life. Say what you want about me. Say it to my face, say it behind my back, write it on the f**king bathroom mirror, I don't care. But do not talk about the people I love. I will lose my mind. The Daily Mirror went all the way to Arkansas to look my dad's number up. I was just furious!"
What about Freddie? Does she not get a say in it?
