Beyonce sets Grammy record

Beyonce sets Grammy record
Beyonce Knowles picks up six gongs at the Grammy Awards while Taylor Swift gets four
Beyonce set a record at last night's Grammy Awards by scooping six prizes - the most amount ever won by a woman at a single ceremony!
This should certainly help the singer get over any disappointment about not even getting a single nomination at the upcoming Brits.
Queen Bee was keen to share some of the limelight with Jay-Z though, telling the crowd:
"I'd love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband. I love you."
Taylor Swift wasn't far behind Beyonce, landing four honours, including Album of the Year award for 'Fearless', which led to another emotional speech on the podium where the singer declared:
"I just hope that you know how much this means to me."
Taylor set another record too - the 20-year-old is the youngest artist to win the award at the age (Alanis Morissette previously held that record at the age of 22).
Other winners included Lady Gaga, who picked up a prize for Best Electronic/Dance album and Best Dance Recording for 'Poker Face,' Kings of Leon, who took home Record of the Year for 'Use Somebody', and the Zac Brown Band beat out a handful of indie acts such as MGMT, Silversun Pickups and the Ting Tings for Best New Artist accolade.
