Beyonce stole the show at last night's MTV European Music Awards in Berlin
Everyone expected Beyonce to go home with at least one award last night, but the Halo singer surpassed expectation by scooping an impressive hat trick. Not content with just winning gongs for Best Female, Best Song and Best Video, she then went on to further steal the show by performing her latest single Sweet Dreams in some rather racy red stockings, suspenders and a basque.
Luckily her husband Jay-Z also picked up his own prize for Best Urban artist (we recommend they get their mantlepiece reinforced), while other winners included U2 for Best Live Act, Lady Gaga for Best New Act, Eminem for Best Male Act, Pixie Lott for Best Push Artist, Green Day for Best Rock Act and Placebo for Best Alternative Act.
Held in the German capital to mark next week's 20th anniversary of the Berlin wall coming down, Katy Perry, who was presenting the ceremony for the second year running, kept the crowd entertained between the awards - and proved that she's not joined to Russell Brand at the hip.
