Beyonce has been hit with a lawsuit over plans to produce her own perfume
Has Sasha Fierce met her fiercest opponent? Just yesterday we reported that Beyonce was dabbling in the fragrance world. However, according to reports, American Clothing firm Abercrombie & Fitch objects to the singer naming her scent Sasha Fierce, having their own scent called Fierce, and plan to put a stop to it.
Legal papers state the singer's fragrance plan "poses a likelihood of confusion" for consumers and could cost Abercrombie & Fitch in sales.
We don't think it's too much of a set back for Beyonce. Just ealier this week she reported:
"While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's reflective of my inner power."
We're sure she can come up with another alter ego to name it after...
