OMG people, it's currently being reported that Gossip Girl Blake Lively could be set to play a young Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex And The City prequel.
The 24-year-old starlet is in talks to step into Sarah Jessica Parker's Manolos, with reports that SATC author Candace Bushnall is set to have her book about Carrie's early life, The Carrie Diaries, made into a film following the commercial success of the last two SATC films.
And apparently SATC director Michael Patrick King has already got Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, who fronts the latest coveted Chanel handbag campaign and had a pair of Louboutins named after her recently, in mind for Carrie's part.
The 24-year-old starlet has shown her diversity with her recent gritty role in The Town, and she sure looks the part in her Upper East Side wares in the US hit drama Gossip Girl.
A source has told People magazine: "The prequel is about breathing new life into the story and exploring Carrie's first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man."
We wonder who that older man could be... Tom Hardy, or maybe a star a bit younger like Robert Pattinson?
No other names have been rumoured for the other girls; Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte but our suggestions so far in the same order could be Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson and maybe Blake's co-star Leighton Meester!
