Britney Spears for Glee cameo?
Susan Boyle, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Leona Lewis, Matt Lucas and Victoria Beckham are some of the celebs who are rumoured to be making cameos in Glee - and now Britney has been added to the list too...
While the episode of the show dedicated to the pop sensation was confirmed a while back, some more details have emerged following an appearance from the show's creator at the San Diego Comic Con.
Talking to fans, Ryan Murphy announced:
"We haven't started shooting yet. We start shooting our new second season on Wednesday. All I can say is that we're doing six Britney songs."
Although he did reveal that cheerleader Brittany (Heather Morris) will be the narrative focus of the special episode, with some more detail, continuing:
"I sort of don't want to say what we're doing yet because it's not airing until September but we're paying tribute to her in a fun and unexpected way."
"The entire episode is Mr Schuester [Matthew Morrison] saying, 'I don't want to do Britney! I don't want to do Britney!' We're doing it in a really fun, hallucenogenic way."
And on whether the star herself will make an appearance, the Emmy nominated director added: "I can't say. Isn't that terrible? That will launch 1,000 stories!"
