Cate Blanchett is to step into Sienna Miller's shoes in 'Nottingham'
Cate Blanchett is rumoured to be replacing Sienna Miller as Maid Marian in the upcoming, much delayed and over-budget Robin Hood film 'Nottingham'.
The role was initially supposed to go to Sienna Miller but apparently the lithe 27-year-old was too young and skinny to play opposite the increasingly porky and haggard-looking Russell Crowe, who is greedily playing both Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham in the film.
Actor Mark Strong, who plays Guy of Gisbourne, said: "I think Cate Blanchett is set to take the Maid Marian part. She is a wonderful actress and it would make it a much classier film if she was in it."
