Cheryl Cole admits that the Ashley affair rumours were horrible and says her hubby was 'immature'
We think Cheryl Cole is being a tad generous when she says that Ashley was 'immature' for reportedly cheating on her with hairdresser Aimee Walton. But then she was generous for not giving him the boot at the time...
When asked about the incident, Cheryl said: "It was horrendous."
She then conceded: "Look, Ashley’s young, and he’s got a young mentality for his age anyway."
But it seems that footballer Ashley does at least have some redeeming qualities (in addition to the millions in the bank, that is).
"He’s learning. He has a beautiful soul, he’s a really nice guy, and I’m not stupid, you know — I’m really not. I know what I’m doing.
"I’ve had enough knocks to know what the circumstances are, you know, and I’m happy. If other people aren’t, that’s their problem."
And no one can say that Cheryl isn't where she wants to be right now.
