Awkward. It seems that Cheryl Cole's mission to crack to America isn't going quite as smoothly a planned - apparently people have been getting her mixed up with Sheryl Crow ahead of the US X Factor launch.
As reported by The Sun, Jennifer Hudson was one of the people to get the stars muddled earlier this week when she asked what she thought of the rumoured US X Factor judge, answering:
"Sheryl Crow? [After being corrected] No, I'm not familiar with her."
The paper adds that even X Factor fans are getting Cheryl/Sheryl confused, with one writing on a show fan forum:
"It's really an insult for a talent like Sheryl crow to be confused with the dreadful Cheryl Cole."
Although someone else answered back:
"I think Cheryl Cole should be offended being confused with Crow."
What do you think? Who would be best? Ms Crow definitely has a few more years of experience - she stormed the charts with All I Wanna do back in 1994, although Girls Aloud are gearing up for their tenth anniversary...
