Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole reveals she used to be a tomboy
While these days, Cheryl Cole is immaculately turned out most of the time, she does still love her baseball caps, which hark back to her days as a tomboy.
The 25-year-old, last week voted sexiest woman in the world by FHM readers, claims that she used to always wear baggy jeans and jumpers until she discovered "girlie clothes and high heels".
She also reveals that her (idiot) husband Ashley prefers her in her grungy home wear to when she's all dressed up - although Ashley doesn't seem to know what is good for him if his reported fling with a hairdresser last year is anything to go by.
She said: "He thinks I look cutest in a casual tracksuit with my hair pulled back at home."
But that doesn't matter to Cheryl as she says she prefers compliments from women - at least they're not just going to be saying it because they think you're fit like men would.
But Cheryl, who is planning a solo career at the moment, thinks that compliments from women are much more important anyway.
She added: "For me there’s no bigger compliment in the world than another woman saying, ‘My God, doesn’t she look gorgeous in that!’ That to me is far more of a compliment than a man saying, ‘She looks sexy.’"
