Is this the 'dignified divorce' that Cheryl Cole had in mind? In the lead up to the legal end of her marriage to estranged husband Ashley, the Girls Aloud singer has made her requests...
At the top of the list is allegedly a life-long gagging order to prevent the footballer from ever revealing anything about their relationship.
The paper-work, drawn up by lawyers and leaked to the Sunday Mirror, is also believed to state that Cheryl does not want a penny of Ashley's estimated £10m fortune and suggests that she pays him £3m of her own cash to buy out his share of their mansion in Surrey.
Other demands include that Ashley agrees to a divorce immediately and will not contact Cheryl for six months after the divorce has been finalised.
All perfectly reasonable we feel.
However, The People reports the conflicting news that the X Factor judge is ready to reunite with her cheating husband, with a source revealing:
"There is no divorce. It has been weeks and weeks since Cheryl discovered Ashley had supposedly been cheating on her but she hadn't seen or spoken to a lawyer.
"Cheryl was backed into a corner when Ashley suggested that he buy out the house and she realised that she needed to make a decision."
We guess we can't believe anything until the ink is dry...
