Coldplay's triple success at Grammys

Coldplay's triple success at Grammys
Coldplay lead British charge at US music awards picking up three awards
While the acting world was being wined and dined in London at the BAFTAs, the music fraternity were doing the same in LA for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards.
And for the second year running, British talent was at the forefront.
Coldplay and Robert Plant led the early winners, picking up three and four awards respectively - with Coleplay taking Best Pop Performance by a Duo Or Group and Song Of The Year for 'Viva La Vida' as well as Best Rock Album for the album of the same name.
Accepting the latter, singer Chris Martin said: "We're not the heaviest of rock bands, as you may have noticed - we're more of a limestone rock band."
He had earlier said: "We have never had so many Grammys in our lives. I feel so grateful to be here, I'm going to tear up. Thank you so much."
Twenty-year-old Londoner Adele also did well picking up two unexpected awards - for New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
She told the crowd: "Thank you so much. I'm going to cry.
"I want to thank my manager, my mum, she's in London. And Duffy, I love you. I think you're amazing."
Duffy felt some love from the awards givers too, collecting Best Pop Vocal Album for 'Rockferry'.
Congrats!
