Lily Allen wants to show off cooking skills on C4's Come Dine With Me
We thought Lily Allen was retiring from music to concentrate on her fashion career, but it looks like her next venture might be in the kitchen...
According to Digital Spy, the 24-year-old wants to take part in Come Dine With Me, announcing on Twitter:
"Now that I've retired in gonna try and get on Come Dine With Me - I'm making chicken tarragon and leek pie tonight, yum."
Yum indeed.
And her retirement couldn't have come at a better time; although she's playing several festival dates this summer, the singer played her last show at the 02 Arena on Sunday night where a fight broke out.
According to The Sun, the 24-year-old turned away and left the stage as two middle-aged men came to blows in the crowd, before returning and announcing:
"That's the worst sort of violence. It's f**king sick and you lot should be ashamed of yourself."
As Courtney Love knows, Lily would only ever get into a verbal fight herself.
