Courtney Love's daughter Frances Bean reportedly takes out restraining order against her
More bad news for Courtney Love this week as it's currently being reported that the former Hole singer and wife of the late Kurt Cobain has had a restraining order issued against her by daughter Frances Bean.
It was announced earlier this week that the 42-year-old has lost custody of her 17-year-old daughter, who is now in the care of Cobain's mother, Wendy O'Conner. But Courtney's lawyer has denied rumours that Frances's decision to live with her paternal grandmother was related to Courtney's drug abuse.
So then she took to social networking site Facebook to brand her teenage daughter "deluded" and "not always honest". And now it's being claimed that Frances was issued with a restraining order against her mother in court on Wednesday.
Responding to the loss of her legal guardianship, Courtney has now written on Facebook: "There's not a whole lot I can do about it. This is like a hand grenade got thrown into our lives and it's not Frances! I am angry at these people, not Frances. I'd just prefer she not become Jaimie [sic] L Spears."
Jamie Lynn Spears fell pregnant at 17 and Courtney landed herself in trouble a few weeks ago when she alleged (again, on Facebook) that Britney Spears's father had sexually assaulted Britney as a child.
Facing criticism from fans for handling a personal matter so publicly, Courtney continued: "She [Frances] should go be a writer or an artist, which I support 100%, but this is a circus and it pains me cos I know she hates it."
"And I very much miss my daughter being a private person, and i very much miss my daughter. I know she knows how miserable I am. I'm despairing and so sad, so, so sad, but I just want to help her be happy, that's it. Get her [a] house and get her school and that's all I've ever wanted."
