Daniel Radcliffe has hit back at claims in the Daily Mirror today that alleged he was smoking cannabis at a party. The tabloid printed a photograph of the 20-year-old 'Harry Potter' star holding what they allege to be a joint and also claimed that the actor informed party-goers at the North London house-warming bash: "I love weed."
A guest at the party also said: "Daniel was laughing and seemed to find it funny. He looked spaced out and didnt look like he knew what was going on."
She added: I was surprised by his behaviour.
Last year the actor, worth an estimated £30 million from the 'Harry Potter' franchise, had said: Ive been around some amazing people and still managed to keep a real childlike view of the world. Im not into drugs.
And now his spokesperson has come to his defence to deny the allegations and release the following statement: "Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this."
The actor is currently filming the last of the 'Harry Potter' movies, 'Deathly Hallow', which will be released in two parts.
