Danyl's X-it?

Danyl's X-it?
'X Factor's' Danyl Johnson berated by Simon Cowell over threats to quit the show and diva-like behaviour
It seems that 'X Factor' contestant Danyl Johnson may have found himself very unpopular with mentor and judge Simon Cowell, following his diva-like antics. According to reports, the 27-year-old dance teacher from Kent threatened to quit the show because of the song he had been given to perform on Saturday night.
The theme this week is Wham! and Danyl had originally been given their hit 'Praying For Time'. But it's being rumoured that he stormed out of rehearsals for the ITV1 talent show yesterday because he wanted to switch the song for 'Careless Whisper'. After being locked in talks with Simon late last night (something we can but dream of!), Danyl was given his way - but received a stern talking to over his attitude.
A source blabbed to the Daily Mail: "There was no big row, but Simon told Danyl he had to calm down, he can’t act like a child. He is the same as every other contestant – and will be treated as such.
"The problem is that the theme was only decided on Tuesday, which is late for everybody as the music has to be mixed and pre-recorded, Yvie the vocal coach has to train the contestants and they have to learn their choreography.
"Then the contestants went to film "home visits", which took another day out of the week, so by the time they got into rehearsals on Wednesday, tensions were rising high.
"Everybody else was happy with their songs, so quite why Danyl had to go off in a sulk is beyond us. His arrogant behaviour on the show, in the house and on the set has stunned and upset some people."
It's also being claimed that tension is rife between Danyl and 25-year-old fellow contestant Olly Murs.
The source added: "There is tension between Danyl and Olly. Danyl says that Olly is allowed to get up on stage and rip open his shirt and everyone goes wild for him. While he gets a far harder time – despite the fact that he thinks he has a stronger singing voice.
"Olly is the most popular guy on the show, so you can see why Danyl is getting upset. But he has to grow up."
Louis Walsh would never have that problem with his act, Jedward...
