Jennifer Aniston played Courteney Cox's therapist on Cougar Town (pictured) - and now it looks like she's giving support in real life too…
According to Pop Eater, the actress has been lending her shoulder to Courteney to cry on following the actress's separation from husband David Arquette, with a source revealing:
"Jen has known for some time that the couple were in trouble but hoped and prayed they would be able to work it out." "No-one knows how painful divorce is more than Jen and she hopes they don't rush into it without exhausting every possibility to stay together. "Goodness knows Courteney supported Jen during her break-up with Brad [Pitt]. Now it's Jen's turn to be supportive. After all, isn't that what a friend is for?"
And if Jen can get over Brad, we think Court should be able to get over David. And talking of the actor, he has apologised after the revealing radio interview we reported on yesterday, where he admitted to sleeping with actress Jasmine Waltz and claimed him and his estranged wife hadn't had sex for the final four months of their marriage, writing on Twitter:
"Thank you all for your Love and support at this time. I'm trying figuring (sic) out how to be the best person I can be... but it's been a process of trial and error. I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I'm experiencing.
"But while doing that I shared too much... it's alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled... Life is a process of spiritual evolution."
It probably made it easier for Courteney to get over any feelings for him anyway.
